- I have a client in Washington state seeking a Board Certified Pediatrician for a hospitalist locums assignment.
- You will be working with skilled pediatric nurses. You will cover hospital where they have 8 beds and another (11 miles distance on the freeway) where they will have 10 beds.
- This is general pediatrics--no intermediate or critical care - you will accept patients from local physicians and the Emergency Department.
- You will NOT need to cover the Nicu or newborn nursery.
- The only procedure you may need to do is lumbar puncture.
- Average daily census is anticipated (they are re-opening pediatrics which they have not had for a few years) to be 4-6 total between the two hospitals.
- This is from April 1st to August 31st.
- I will then.
- You must be Board Certified in Pediatrics, have current Pals, be licensed in Washington state, and have some experience working as a pediatric hospitalists.
- ED physicians respond to codes and are Pals trained.
- You do NOT need to stay in the hospitals and we will provide lodging near the hospital or freeway.
